Prayer

Pray this prayer

Dear Jesus,

I believe in my heart that I am a sinner who needs God's loving saving grace. I have heard the scriptural report. I believe in my heart that you loved me so much that you died for my sins and that you arose from the dead to life so that I can have life eternal in the heavens with you. I confess with my mouth that I am lost without you. Jesus, please come into my heart and be my Lord and personal Savior. Thank you, Lord, for answering my prayer. For I call it done! And, I ask and receive it all in your name, Jesus. Amen.

God's Salvation Awaits

The following information originally appeared in our "Christian WordSpeak Cathedrals At Cathedral" site before GeoCities, Geo-Yahoo! discontinued all free sites on October 2009. This content remains relevant, because our God lives!

God's Salvation Is Promised To All Who Believe On Jesus Christ

Jn 3:16~For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but they shall have everlasting life.

Rom. 5:8 ~But God commendeth his love towards us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Rom. 3:10 ~For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

Rom. 3:10 ~There is none righteous, no, not one.

Rom. 6:23 ~The wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

John 1:12 ~As many as received him, gave he them the power to become the sons and daughters of God. Even to them that believe on his name.

Rom. 10:13 ~For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

CALL ON JESUS. HE WILL HEAR. HE WILL SAVE YOU. HOW??

Rom. 10:9 ~That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved.

What would your response be to anybody who asks the following, as received from and quoted from Rev. C. Becker, below?

Hello Everyone,

Recently I have had a lot of questions and opinions from people about salvation. My questions to all of you are this, "How do you know you are truly saved" and "Do you believe there are any conditions to salvation?" My response to her questions is repeated below:

Many times Christians use the "Roman Road" teaching when presenting God's Plan

of Salvation to mankind. Those Scriptures are true and include the following:

1) There is none righteous, no not one (Rom. 3:10)

2) All have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Rom. 3:23-26)

3) All of our righteousnesses are as filthy rags (Isa. 64:6)

4) We have been justified by Jesus' blood (Rom. 5:6-11)

5) The wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life (Rom. 6:23)

6) Salvation (Rom. Chap. 10:8-17)

7) Faith -- Heb. 11:1

8) We are saved by God's grace through faith (Eph. 2:8)
There are so many more Scriptures which point to Jesus Christ as God's only way
He has provided to receive His Salvation.

CONDITIONS?

People of all ages, races, religions, origins, persuasions need to understand that even though God's wonderful grace is free to all because of His love, mercy, and great compassion towards us, God's grace is not readily received by all. What's more, God's love is unconditional; however, God has set conditions for receiving His love and His grace to us.

John 3:16 says, -- "For God so loved the world that He gave His Only Begotten Son (Jesus) that whosoever believeth on Him (Jesus) shall be saved."
